I really enjoyed creating this for my wonderful niece and her very lovely husband at their recent wedding. It’s a group print with ‘future hopes and blessings’ from their guests on their wedding party day.
It began with a sketch from an image on a background of colourful circles. I then asked the happy couple to share with me their examples of their handwritting. I created this into a custom rubber stamp printing alphabet. On the day I asked guests to print their ‘future hopes and blessing’s for the newly weds.
The final version is now framed and on a wall in their house with lots of ‘wonderful’, ‘joy’ and ‘naughtiness’.
